The Samsung Galaxy A2 Core, an anticipated entry-level smartphone, has surfaced online. It is believed that the Android Go Edition phone is the Galaxy A2 Core Model Number SM-A260. The model number was originally connected to the Galaxy A20. The phone is expected to succeed Samsung’s Galaxy J2 Core, which was launched in August last year. There is no word on the price or availability of the Galaxy A2 Core. The phone’s GeBank Listing had previously indicated that it would be operated by the Octa-core processor.

Vipul Tipster Ivan Blas shared a render of Twitter’s upcoming Samsung Galaxy A2 Core on Twitter. Render shows the smartphone in two color options – Black and Blue. Single rear camera with LED flash and large scale front beams can also be seen. The dated design of the phone clearly points to the budget nature of the phone, which is compatible with the go version smartphone.

A Geekbench listing of the phone, which was spotted in February 2019, indicated that the Galaxy A2 Core will be powered by the Exynos 7870 SoC, which includes the eight Cortex-A53 CPU core, the Mali-T830A1 GPU , And it is based on 14 nm manufacturing process. Listing also suggested that the phone will run on Android 8.1 Oreo, most likely the go version, and 1 GB RAM packs.

Other specification of the phone is currently a mystery. In addition, there is no word on the release of the smartphone, however, if the date mentioned in the render is an indication, then Samsung can announce the phone on 22 March next week.

To remember, Samsung’s last Android Go Edition phone – Galaxy J2 Core 90 5,990 – runs on Android 8.1 (go edition) and runs 5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) screen, quad-core Exynos 7570 SoC, and 1GB RAM Packs. The phone also includes an 8-megapixel primary shooter and a 5-megapixel front shooter on the rear side.
